Stoney Creek has been supplying cross stitch publications, magazines, kits and accessories for over twenty years. In this newsletter we are focusing on their extensive range of over five hundred books and leaflets the majority of which are still in print.

They are constantly adding to their range and would typically release twenty-five new titles per year on a wide variety topics. Their books are finished to a very high standard, charts are very clear and easy to follow and there are many different types of finishing methods used.

The main advantage of these magnificent publications is that they represent such excellent value for money. Each book contains a minimum of five projects (based on a central theme) and sometimes many more. For example one of their latest releases, Welcome Baby, features twelve projects including two large framed pieces – one for a boy and one for a girl.

The works of John Constable are among the most popular and valuable in British Art. Constable is principally known for his outstanding landscape paintings many of which were created in Dedham Vale, the area surrounding his home in Suffolk. So famous are his works of art that this part of Suffolk is still referred to as “Constable Country”.
